These grants are intended to support programs and events with a focus on retaining and supporting a diverse workforce in orthopaedic surgery in a private, remote setting or outside of an academic institution. 

• J. Robert Gladden Orthopaedic Society (JRGOS) – $25,000 
  • JRGOS Orthopaedic Intern Strategic Mentoring Workshop – The workshop is designed to evaluate incoming URIM orthopaedic surgery interns based on personality assessment, skills acquired, communication expertise and knowledge base to augment deficits and guide ongoing learning based on the information obtained.
