How has the AAOS helped you during residency?
The AAOS has been a resource to find reliable information and tools that I can use in my day-to-day life as a resident.

As a Resident Member, which AAOS resources do you use most and why?
JAAOS articles have helped me stay up to date with the latest orthopedic research. It’s something I use frequently when looking for literature to support surgical decision-making. The ROCK platform for OITE studying has also been very useful in preparing for boards.

What’s the best advice you were ever given? Who was it from?
The only mistake you can make is not learning from life’s lessons. My mother gave me that one early in my life.

What’s your go-to productivity trick?
Make to-do lists and set time limits on tasks. If things are taking too long, move on and come back to it, but don’t lose the day on one thing!

What’s one thing you’re currently trying to make a habit?
Reading and studying for boards daily.

What hobbies do you enjoy in your spare time?
Soccer, hiking, and playing with our son.

Tell us a fun fact about yourself that not many people know?
My hidden talent is beatboxing.
