How has the AAOS helped you during residency?
The yellow journal (JAAOS®) review articles are invaluable to case preparation, and a useful starting point for a plethora of topics. ResStudy has been essential for question review for annual OITE examination preparation. The newsletter exposes me to new innovations and member spotlights throughout our specialty.

As a Resident Member, which AAOS resources do you use most and why?
The AAOS resources used the most would be access to the review articles offered through the yellow journal (JAAOS®).

What’s the best advice you were ever given? Who was it from?
The best advice I've received is from my husband to stay positive no matter what. Life is all about your attitude.

What’s your go-to productivity trick?
My go-to productivity trick would be to create a list to check off tasks and stay at work until the job is finished. I set timelines for myself on when to complete tasks. This has been most helpful for accomplishing my research goals.

What’s one thing you’re currently trying to make a habit?
I take time every day on my commute to work to pray. This has become a habit and has helped with my mental clarity before I start my day.

What hobbies do you enjoy in your spare time?
I enjoy spending time with my children hiking, swimming in our backyard, and baking in my spare time.

Tell us a fun fact about yourself that not many people know?
I am the proud mother of six boys.
