Tell us a fun fact about yourself that not many people know?
I love travelling and visited over 25 countries. After passing the MRCS exam in Edinburgh, in the excitement, we (another British Trainee and myself) were chatting away to glory and got on to the wrong train (Instead of going to Darlington, we went to Glasgow). we only realised after the train stopped, that we made a big mistake. Lesson learnt: Always double-check, even if you are a frequent traveller. This holds good for orthopaedic surgery too. "Check twice and cut once".
