How has the AAOS helped you throughout your career?
AAOS has been very important in my journey as an orthopedic doctor. It has connected me with a network of brilliant professionals, expanded my knowledge base, and kept me up to date with the latest advances in orthopedic care. Being part of such a well-recognized and respected community has helped me to grow as a practitioner of orthopedics.

As an International Resident Member, which AAOS resources do you use most and why?
From all the AAOS’s resources, it would be the ROCK program. It helped me to learn key concepts, with the knowledge presented in a clear and concise way. I also enjoyed the Orthopedic Video Theater and journals. These resources provide me with valuable insight and practical knowledge.

What is the best advice you were ever given? Who was it from?
The best advice I was ever given, and that inspired me, is to always remain humble and open to learning new things.  No matter how experienced or skilled we become, there’s always more to learn from others—whether it’s from our peers, mentors, or patients. This mindset has allowed me to deepen my understanding and continuously expand my knowledge

What’s your go-to productivity trick?
It's crucial to make a list of goals and prioritize the tasks that have to be completed first.

Effective time management and keeping a goal-oriented mindset help me to complete tasks on schedule, to the best of my ability. Once you complete the first task, the feeling of accomplishment makes the second task easier.

What’s one thing you’re currently trying to make a habit?
To learn about new approaches to treatment, which might become the mainstay of therapy in the future.

What hobbies do you enjoy in your spare time?
I train running and cycling. I love to participate in races together with friends from my running & cycling clubs. Most of all, that’s when I know that all the hard work in training has paid off.

Tell us a fun fact about yourself that not many people know?
I take every chance to learn about something new, outside of my medical field. In this way, I can keep my horizons broad and connect with people from all walks of life.
