How has the AAOS helped you during residency?
The AAOS has been essential to my professional and personal development during residency. It has provided me with numerous resources to expand my knowledge in orthopaedics and stay current with the latest advances in the field.

As an International Resident Member, which AAOS resources do you use most and why?
As an International Resident Member, I primarily use the Resident Orthopaedic Core Knowledge portal for its concise, evidence-based summaries that simplify topic reviews. I also benefit from JAAOS, and AAOS webinars, which provide a wide array of educational resources.

What’s the best advice you were ever given? Who was it from?
The best advice I ever received was from my father, who was an orthopedic and spine surgeon before he passed away. He always told me, 'Give it your all, never give up, and if you fall, don’t worry—I’ll always be there to support you.' His words have been a constant source of strength and motivation throughout my career

What’s your go-to productivity trick?
My main productivity tip is to plan my week ahead of time, which gives me a clear direction. I try to learn from my mentors by appreciating their helpful advice while also letting go of any bad habits. This approach helps me focus on my growth and boosts my overall effectiveness.

What’s one thing you’re currently trying to make a habit?
I’ve recently started adding exercise to my routine and am focusing on making it a regular habit. I’m also committed to reading one book each month to broaden my knowledge and enjoy some relaxation time.

What hobbies do you enjoy in your spare time?
In my free time, I love playing the guitar, crafting ceramic sculptures, and playing a few video games. These hobbies help me relax and tap into my creative side.
