How has the AAOS helped you throughout your career?
The AAOS has provided me with multiple study modalities, surgical case preparation tools, and career development resources.

As a Fellowship Member, which AAOS resources do you use most and why?
I currently use the Orthopedic Video Theater for my surgical case preparation. The OrthoInfo handouts are beneficial for patient education. I have also used the ACCELERATE job exploration platform to search for potential career opportunities after my fellowship training.

What’s the best advice you were ever given? Who was it from?
My residency program director taught me that one day with a great teacher is better than a thousand days of study.

What’s your go-to productivity trick?
I keep one master list of my personal and professional tasks. I find that this helps me stay organized and prioritize. Once a task is done, it's on to the next one. The list serves as a visual reminder of things to do and a motivator.

What’s one thing you’re currently trying to make a habit?
One of my goals for each day is to be present at home. Throughout our training, there is always something more to be learned or more work to be done. We dedicate a significant amount of time to our careers. I’m trying to fully embrace time with family when I’m fortunate enough to have it.

What hobbies do you enjoy in your spare time?
I enjoy cooking, traveling, strength training, being outdoors, automobile restoration, and watching University of Michigan football.

Tell us a fun fact about yourself that not many people know?
A fun fact about myself is I recently became a father in August 2024!
