How has the AAOS helped you throughout your career?
Throughout all my years of training, AAOS has always provided a plethora of resources to help me become a safe and efficient orthopaedic surgeon.

As a Fellowship Member, which AAOS resources do you use most and why?
JAAOS is a journal that I use often. 

What’s the best advice you were ever given? Who was it from?
The best advice I have ever been given was from my late uncle, Vasco Bridges Jr. He said "Always remember to take a break from climbing this mountain we call life. Make sure to look down and remember how far you have come, then look up, and keep on climbing."

What’s your go-to productivity trick?
My go to productivity tricks are using the Eisenhower Matrix to prioritize my tasks and the Pomodoro technique to work through those tasks. 

What’s one thing you’re currently trying to make a habit?
I am currently trying to make running three 5Ks a week a habit. 

What hobbies do you enjoy in your spare time?
One of my favorite winter hobbies is skiing. I finally picked it back up in the last two years and plan on making it an annual treat. 


Tell us a fun fact about yourself that not many people know?
I am biracial, Puerto Rican and Black. My mother is a CRNA from Comerio, PR and my father is a Urologist from Mendenhall, Mississippi.
