Why did you join AAOS?

I joined AAOS to be part of the largest orthopaedic community and to maximize the quality of my training and practice, in addition to helping me establish good relations within the big orthopaedic community.

How do you define success?

To me, it is reaching your targets in a reasonable time. Even if those targets are small because such small targets together will lead to bigger successes.

Who is your biggest inspiration and why?

The internal satisfaction about being quite balanced between the different life perspectives (family, work, social, etc.). That inspires me because I feel I am succeeding in multiple aspects.

How has the AAOS helped you throughout your career?

The amount of help I have received through a lot of educational material that I have been using throughout my training is huge. The AAOS has also given me the amazing opportunity to know the orthopaedic community better.

What advice would you give to new members of the AAOS?

Try maximizing the amount of benefits that you can get through your membership. Part of that is to make sure you understand about all the available benefits.

Tell us a fun fact about yourself that not many people know.

I enjoy different hobbies including sports and travel. Reading about orthopaedics with a cup of tea is one of the most enjoyable moments for myself.
