How has the AAOS helped you throughout your career?
I have found the educational aspect of AAOS extremely helpful in my training and early years in practice, specifically JAAOS, AAOS-sponsored webinars, OVT, and in-person courses at the OLC.  It has also been a great resource for practice management, specifically coding.

As a Candidate Member, which AAOS resources do you use most and why?
Similar to above--AAOS-sponsored webinars, JAAOS, & OVT -- they are high-yield, organized, and relevant.  I also reference my AAOS coding book frequently.

What’s the best advice you were ever given? Who was it from?
"A patient will forgive you for running late, but they will never forgive you for making them feel rushed." I actually first heard this from Dr. Michael Greiwe, whose group I interviewed with for fellowship.  Now that I've been in practice for two years, this statement rings true.

What’s your go-to productivity trick?
Coffee.  I try not to focus on "multitasking" so much as trying to efficiently complete one task at a time.  I'm open to productivity suggestions!

What’s one thing you’re currently trying to make a habit?
A good golf swing.  Eating a salad every day for lunch.

What hobbies do you enjoy in your spare time?
Spending time with my wife, Marisa, 13-month-old son, Finn, and dog, Mila.  Notre Dame Football.  Trying to break 100 in golf.  Mcdonald's (see salad above). Friends, Food, Travel.

Tell us a fun fact about yourself that not many people know?
I'm a registered CPA, but I don't do my own taxes (my father is also a CPA, thanks Peter!).  I also seem to like getting to airports at the last possible minute.
