How has the AAOS helped you throughout your career?
AAOS has helped me since I was a medical student all the way to attending practice. It provides excellent educational resources and has helped me with career building and networking.
As a Candidate Member, which AAOS resources do you use most and why?
I use the JAAOS collection for its educational value. I also use Practice Management resources to help continue to grow my early career.
What’s the best advice you were ever given? Who was it from?
Dr. Mauricio Kfuri always said to me “Treat every patient how you would want your mother treated.”
What’s your go-to productivity trick?
Dedicating time to complete a task, but most importantly putting the phone down!
What’s one thing you’re currently trying to make a habit?
Creating a healthy separation of work from family time.
What hobbies do you enjoy in your spare time?
Spending time outside, family basketball games, hiking, and both practicing and watching mixed martial arts.
Tell us a fun fact about yourself that not many people know?
I've wanted to be a doctor for as long as I can remember. Except for a brief stint where I wanted to be a paleontologist after I watched Jurassic Park in 1994. Then I realized you can't really bring dinosaurs back, so went back to becoming a doctor.
