How has the AAOS helped you throughout your career?
I have used several of the AAOS online resources to stay up to date with current best practices. I also use the resources to take online courses and obtain CME.

As an Allied member, which AAOS resources do you use most and why?
I mainly use the AAOS online resources because the site is user-friendly and I am able to review them during downtime and on weekends. It allows me to take the courses at my own pace and when I have time to dedicate to it.

What’s the best advice you were ever given? Who was it from?
I was taught by my parents to treat others with the respect I wish to receive. That's important to remember in any aspect of life and I use that advice daily when providing patient care.

What’s your go-to productivity trick?
I am a big believer in lists so I will always have a pen and paper with me or create a list on my phone. It helps me with day-to-day tasks as well as staying goal-oriented.

What’s one thing you’re currently trying to make a habit?
Finding time in the day to exercise and get outside. In Southern California we are blessed with great weather most days so there isn’t an excuse not to hike, run, or walk almost every day.

What hobbies do you enjoy in your spare time?
Getting outdoors- camping, hiking, and running; playing on a weekly softball team.

Tell us a fun fact about yourself that not many people know?
I worked for the US Forest Service as an on- call Type II firefighter for two seasons.
