Why did you join AAOS?

I joined AAOS when my first supervising physician, Dr. Zucker, encouraged me to attend the annual meeting shortly after we started working together. I think he saw how motivated I was to learn and AAOS has been a great resource.

How do you define success?

To me, success is defined by meeting small goals and learning from mistakes while being happy and living without regrets.

Who is your biggest inspiration and why?

My mother is my biggest inspiration. She is a strong, intelligent, independent, and compassionate woman who recently retired from an amazing career as an OB/GYN physician, and I have looked up to her my entire life.

What do you love most about AAOS?

I love the Annual Meeting and can’t wait to go back!

What advice would you give to new members of AAOS?

Go to the Annual Meeting. It may be overwhelming at first but it’s worth it!

Tell us a fun fact about yourself that not many people know?

I am a self-taught baker and love to share my decorated cakes with co-workers.
