How has the AAOS helped you throughout your career?
The educational resources and career-searching tools were helpful in the early stages of my training.

As an Active Fellow Member, which AAOS resources do you use most and why?
The Yellow Journal has been helpful in keeping my education current. Furthermore, as someone involved in the AMA and the AOFAS, they have some excellent advocacy resources. Finally, committee involvement has been helpful in expanding my educational circle with the foot and ankle community and the orthopaedic community as a whole.

What’s the best advice you were ever given? Who was it from?
You can’t take care of others if you haven’t taken care of yourself

Don’t let it get you down.” – Dr. John Goldblatt

What’s your go-to productivity trick?
I email my OR team with surgical plans ahead of time. A prepared team is a productive and efficient team.

What’s one thing you’re currently trying to make a habit?
Keeping up with the latest research and developing new hobbies.

What hobbies do you enjoy in your spare time?
Traveling, exploring NYC, riding my peloton, and watching the Buffalo Bills.

Tell us a fun fact about yourself that not many people know?
I did a lot of theatre and music as a kid - my dream as a 10-year-old was to perform on Broadway.  It's fun since I now live about 3 blocks from many of the large Broadway theaters.
