Participant Requirements
Surgical participants in Academy surgical skills programs must have completed or be currently enrolled in a residency program acrredited by either the Accreditation Council for Graduate Medical Education (ACGME) or the American Osteopathic Association (AOA). Surgeons from outside the United States are required to have similar residency program credentials.
PAs can attend lectures, view surgical demonstrations, and observe in the lab accompanied by an orthopaedic surgeon.
