Learning Objectives

Total Knee:

  • Perform coronally and sagitally balanced TKA
  • Perform coronally and sagitally balanced UKA
  • Evaluate and implement options for patellar management during TKA
  • Indications and contraindications for cementless TKA
  • Identify and apply strategies to avoid and manage common complications or pitfalls during TKA
  • Execute a conversion from UKA to TKA

Trauma:

  • Execute ORIF for the proximal humerus, distal femur, and ankle syndesmosis
  • Demonstrate IM nail placement and fasciotomy procedures for both upper and lower extremities
  • Apply temporary external fixation for the lower extremities
