At the conclusion of this course, learners should be able to:

  2. Have a basic understanding of the different orthopedic practice business models that any resident or Fellow should know before deciding on where to practice.
  3. Articulate the different ways physicians can be compensated for the work they do.
  4. Understand the concept of leadership and the benefits of a team approach to healthcare delivery.
  5. Acquire insights into the job interview process.
  6. Provide a foundation of knowledge to optimize the transition from training to the active workforce as an orthopedic surgeon.
