Webinar Features the Academy's Response to COVID-19
In a webinar broadcast Thursday, April 9 to members of the Academy and the broader medical community, AAOS President Joseph A. Bosco, III, MD, FAAOS, enunciated the ways the Academy would focus on its objective to confront the COVID-19 pandemic with a commitment “to support our members, their patients, and the communities they serve as a critical resource for information and tools to overcome the health and economic crisis created by the pandemic.”

AAOS Improves Member Experience with New Website Features and Enhancements
The AAOS website—aaos.org— recently relaunched with a cleaner look and updated functionality. The launch is another phase in the ongoing effort to update all of AAOS’ online properties, which first began with the redesign of OrthoInfo in 2017, followed by the Orthopaedic Video Theater in 2018, then AAOS Now in 2019.

AAOS Board Takes Professional Compliance Actions
At its meeting on Dec. 6, 2019, the Board of Directors of the American Association of Orthopaedic Surgeons (AAOS) considered the following licensure compliance matters not related to the AAOS Standards of Professionalism and took the actions indicated.
