The mission statement of AAOS is: “Serving our profession to provide the highest quality musculoskeletal care.” Since reaffirming this mission and creating our five-year Strategic Plan in December 2018, AAOS has focused substantial resources and effort toward improving the member experience. AAOS will welcome Chile as the Guest Nation at the AAOS 2020 Annual Meeting in Orlando, Fla., March 24–28, with the Sociedad Chilena de Ortopedia y Traumatología (SCHOT) representing the country.

Looking Back at a Very Good Year for Registries
There were welcome new arrivals—beginning with the January 2019 launch of the Musculoskeletal Tumor Registry (MsTR) pilot, followed in March 2019 by the addition of the rotator cuff and elbow arthroplasty modules to the Shoulder and Elbow Registry.
