The AAOS-Vietnamese Orthopaedic Association (VOA) Visiting Faculty and Professional Development Program was designed as a comprehensive education program aimed at improving the quality of orthopaedic care in Vietnam. From May 2009 through 2014, AAOS-VOA courses focused on one of three specialty areas were held in hospitals in Ho Chi Minh City, Hue, and Hanoi, under the guidance of AAOS course directors Stuart L.
