One of the most rewarding experiences of being an orthopaedic surgeon is getting out of the clinic and hospital and practicing our profession in an international setting with colleagues from around the world. In 2009 and in 2017, I was fortunate enough to be part of the medical staff for Maccabi/USA. The Maccabiah World Games are held every 4 years in Israel.
