Authors of JAAOS ® Article Address Racial and Intersectional Discrimination in the Workplace

In July 2020, a survey to solicit perspectives on race and intersectional discrimination in contemporaneous orthopaedic practices and general views regarding occupational opportunity and discrimination was sent to 455 surgeons in this demographic group. The survey results, published in an article written by five Black orthopaedic surgeons, appeared in the June 2, 2021, issue of the Journal of the AAOS ®.
