At a time when orthopaedic surgeons are caring for more diverse patients with increasing levels of obesity and more comorbid conditions, the Movement is Life (MIL) Caucus provides a unique and much needed forum to address the impact of social determinants of health on clinical outcomes and bundled payment models, as well as the need to preserve access to musculoskeletal care for both urban and rural patients.
