Learn More about the AAOS Leadership Institute at Its Engagement Theater Presentation on Thursday

As part of its ongoing commitment to evolve the culture and governance of its board and volunteer structure, AAOS has an exclusive member program, the AAOS Leadership Institute (ALI), which provides training, mentoring, and networking opportunities to help you acquire and enhance the key skills needed to succeed as a volunteer leader.

 

Available in four successive tiers, ALI provides a clear pathway for members seeking high levels of leadership within AAOS. ALI Levels 1 and 2 orient members into the Academy’s culture and resources and prepare them for AAOS committee service. These early levels primarily provide online learning modules, webinars, and informal mentoring that can be completed at any pace. 

 

Levels 3 and 4 are available through an application process for members who aspire to serve as a committee or council chair or on the AAOS Board of Directors. Level 3 focuses on providing members with the knowledge and skills that are critical to becoming a strong AAOS council or committee chair. Level 4 is designed for innovative leaders who aspire to the highest levels of AAOS governance. Participation will best equip you with the essential tools and insights crucial for effective governance within the organization.

 

Learn more about this member program during an Engagement Theater presentation from 8:30 to 9 a.m. on Thursday. During this session, engage with AAOS leaders and ask questions about the program. The session is open to all members. The Engagement Theater is located in OrthoLive in Sails Pavilion.
