As the OLC Education & Conference Center celebrates 30 years of advancing medical education, it continues to enhance its state-of-the-art facility with significant upgrades. Participants can now benefit from professional-grade medical scrubs, made possible by the Aircast Foundation, alongside new audiovisual systems and an optional dual demo station that delivers superior hands-on learning.
The OLC stands as a premier event destination, welcoming more than 10,000 distinguished medical professionals annually from all 50 states and more than 50 countries. Its 14,000-square-foot facility combines cutting-edge technology with hands-on surgical training. At any given moment, it serves as an innovative hub featuring state-of-the-art labs and immersive experiences. From within its auditoriums emerge the next breakthroughs in medical education, led by the nation’s finest practitioners and industry experts.
The OLC consistently advances medical education through innovative approaches. Through a landmark collaboration with the Arthroscopy Association of North America, the Advanced Procedure-Specific Surgical Experience program offered surgeons access to more than 70 specialized knee and shoulder procedures in a single comprehensive event. Building on its commitment to educational excellence, the OLC has worked with AAOS to evaluate virtual reality (VR) surgical training through two courses: Fundamentals of Knee and Shoulder Arthroscopy, using the Osso VR platform, and Surgical Skills Total Knee Total Hip Arthroplasty, with the PrecisionOS VR platform. These innovative opportunities offer surgeons the cutting-edge in hands-on medical education.
