Practice Management Course for Residents and Fellows-in-Training Offers Rich Content for Early-Career Surgeons

During the Practice Management for Residents and Fellows-in-Training course, trainees and early-career surgeons come together to engage with mentors and peers and learn critical skills for practice.

The Practice Management for Residents and Fellows-in-Training course is a free half-day educational offering specially developed to deliver content customized to the needs of early-career surgeons. Participants will hear from more than a dozen faculty experts on various subjects that were specifically chosen by residents as areas of interest.

The course will cover finance, practice management, and career management. Faculty will provide insights into important topics for early-career surgeons, including appropriate coding practices, personal finance opportunities, and how to negotiate a first contract.

During the Practice Management for Residents and Fellows-in-Training course, trainees and early-career surgeons come together to engage with mentors and peers and learn critical skills for practice.

This course is scheduled for 12:30 to 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday in West, Room 2007. The event will provide a unique opportunity to network with faculty and colleagues. Attendees will learn from one another through interactive question-and-answer sessions and enjoy a short food and beverage break to allow for mingling and connecting with colleagues.
