Encompassing a vast 14,000 square feet of flexible meeting space, the OLC Education & Conference Center (OLC) annually hosts an impressive assembly of approximately 10,000 guests, drawing attendees from all 50 states and more than 50 countries worldwide.

At any given moment, it serves as an innovative hub, featuring state-of-the-art labs and immersive hands-on experiences. Within its auditoriums echo the reverberations of groundbreaking medical procedures, championed by the nation’s preeminent surgeons, doctors, and industry experts.

Back in September 2023, the OLC had the privilege of hosting an event that truly embodied the essence of next-gen education. A collaboration with the Arthroscopy Association of North America, the Advanced Procedure-Specific Surgical Experience introduced a groundbreaking approach to elevating surgical skills.

Course co-chair Richard K.N. Ryu, MD, remarked, “This type of educational delivery, on this scale, with more than 70 knee and shoulder procedures, has never been attempted before. Based on the feedback from attendees and faculty alike, the course was a huge success and may very well shift the paradigm of educational offerings moving forward.”

In short, the course was a game-changer and yet another example of how the OLC has pioneered medical education over the years.
