This week, AAOS approved its next Strategic Plan for 2024 to 2028, with a new 5-year outcome statement and four overarching goals. The new Strategic Plan will guide AAOS’ future direction and will be vital for the organization to shape the changes that impact healthcare and the profession and to equip AAOS and its members for continued success.
AAOS is building on the strong foundation of the last 5 years and remains committed to exceptional member experience, quality, and culture. AAOS is focused on its members and will continue to evolve its organization and culture. This plan also reflects the intent to build greater patient engagement and deepen partnerships across the musculoskeletal community.
The AAOS’ Board of Directors, councils, committees, and many other member volunteers will take an active role in shaping organizational priorities and execution aligned to these four goals:
- Members
- Patients
- Culture
- Musculoskeletal community
