OVT’s Top Surgical Collection Now Offers CME

The AAOS Orthopaedic Video Theater (OVT) continues to be a valuable resource for orthopaedic surgeons at all levels, around the globe. Because OVT’s library contains nearly 700 surgical technique videos, you’ll find topics pertaining to your area of expertise, as well as hundreds outside your specialty area. And now, more than 200 videos offer continuing medical education (CME). At .75 credits per program, OVT CME is the continuing education extension of this popular collection.

“The OVT Committee works to bring you the latest advances in surgical techniques. With your OVT subscription, you receive peer-reviewed, evidence-based, surgical technique videos—and now, the opportunity to earn CME,” said James Michael Bennett, MD, chair of the Orthopaedic Video Theater Committee. “We encourage your feedback as we continue to make OVT your preferred portal for orthopaedic video education.”

OVT provides unlimited access to videos reviewed by topic experts, many of whom are pioneers in the field. This peer-review process helps ensure the demonstrations are safe and effective. View the OVT collection—including 116 new videos for 2018—in Academy Hall B. There you’ll also find monitors featuring this year’s 11 award-winning videos and six that received honorable mention. OVT hours are 7 a.m. to 6 p.m. Wednesday–Friday, and 7 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Saturday.
