Modified Hemipelvectomy for Multiple Recurrent Extraskeletal Osteosarcoma of the Thigh

Summary: This is a case of a 62-year-old female who presented with a recurrent sarcoma in her right thigh. The patient had a history of extraskeletal osteosarcoma with multiple recurrences. Follow-up imaging revealed new areas of nodular enhancement in the medial and inferomedial thigh. The patient underwent a hemipelvectomy. Postoperatively she is doing well with physical therapy and will be monitored closely during her rehabilitation period.
