Bilateral Split Anterior Tibial Tendon Transfer and Flexor Tendon Lengthening
We present the case of a 33-year-old male who sustained a traumatic brain injury following a motorcycle accident. This injury led to the development of bilateral spastic equinocavo-varus ankle-foot deformities. Despite the use of bilateral ankle-foot orthoses and ongoing therapy, his condition progressively worsened, causing increased pain and hindering his therapeutic progress. In this surgical video, we depict a bilateral split anterior tibial tendon transfer and flexor tendon lengthening procedure.
