This video reviews a clinical case of a loose total ankle arthroplasty implant and describes a technique for removal of a fourth-generation total ankle arthroplasty implant, particularly with broken components. In addition, the history and workup for a patient in whom a loose total ankle arthroplasty implant is suspected is outlined, case imaging studies are reviewed, and expected outcomes after revision total ankle arthroplasty are explained.
