This video demonstrates a Winograd procedure for management of an ingrown toenail. Preoperative images are presented. The incision site is properly marked, and an incision is made. The problem section of the toenail is removed along with the germinal matrix tissue. The incision is then closed. Postoperative images are shown along with results from peer-reviewed studies of patients who underwent this same procedure.
