Anchorless Arthroscopic Transosseous Rotator Cuff Repair- Tips Tricks and Surgical Pearls
Rotator cuff repair techniques have evolved through the pendulum of time. Currently rotator cuff repair can be performed arthroscopically and without use of any anchors. Arthroscopic transosseous RCR can achieve strong initial biomechanical fixation, anatomic footprint restoration, and optimization of biologic healing. In this video, the arthroscopic technique demonstrated can be performed via the beach chair or lateral position. The arthroscopy is performed via the 4 portal technique. Hopefully the tips, tricks, and surgical pearls can be helpful for other orthopedic surgeons confronting a complex rotator cuff tear.
