Quadriceps tendon (QT) autograft has increased in popularity with improved harvest techniques that minimize donor site morbidity and provide a predictable graft size for anterior cruciate ligament (ACL) reconstruction. QT can be utilized in primary ACL reconstruction with outcomes similar to bone-patellar tendon-bone (BTB) and hamstring tendon (HT) autograft ACL reconstructions. This video will review the existing literature, present our preferred technique for minimally invasive QT harvest and ACL reconstruction, and review published outcomes along with outcomes from our cohort of patients.
