The Guyon Canal
This video demonstrates the contents of the Guyon canal in a cadaver model and a human patient after trauma. The Guyon canal is an anatomic fibro-osseous structure, that contains the ulnar nerve and artery; however, the anatomy of this region is controversial. This video identifies the ulnar nerve and artery in the Guyon canal. The three zones of the Guyon canal are identified based on the branching of the ulnar nerve. The video demonstrates dissection of a cadaver model hand and a clinical case presentation.
