Subtalar Arthroscopic Excision of Os Trigonum
Complete excision of symptomatic os trigonum can be performed via an open or arthroscopic procedure. Regardless of the method selected, complete excision is essential increase the likelihood of symptomatic relief. Several os trigonum variants exists. This video demonstrates subtalar arthroscopic excision of a unique os trigonum variant in which the articular congruency made locating the synchondrosis difficult; however, complete excision was achieved with the use of intraoperative fluoroscopy.
