Arthroscopic Bankart Repair Using a Lateral Distraction Jack
This video demonstrates the technique for arthroscopic Bankart repair with the use of a laterally placed hydraulic jack to distract the humeral head from the glenoid. The use of a lateral jack obviates the need for manual distraction, which frees up the hands of the surgeon and assistant and protects the humeral head from inadvertent chondral damage during instrumentation of the joint.
