Horizontal cleavage meniscal tears are common orthopaedic injuries that often are managed via partial or total meniscectomy or repair. This video demonstrates horizontal cleavage tear repair with the use of circumferential compression stitches that are placed via an all-inside self-retrieving suture passing device. The resulting circumferential stitch provides uniform compression to the superior and inferior leaflets, promoting meniscal healing.
