Dr. Michael A. Zacchilli is a board-certified, fellowship-trained Orthopedic Sports Medicine surgeon at The Orthopedic Institute at Lenox Hill - Greenwich Village. He graduated with honors from Harvard University and the University of Massachusetts Medical School. He completed his residency with the United States Army at William Beaumont Army Medical Center, where he served as chief resident and was voted the distinguished graduate of his class. Following residency he selected for a coveted position at Womack Army Medical Center in Fort Bragg, where he cared for Airborne and Special Operations soldiers, completed three combat medical deployments, and was additionally selected for assignment with the Joint Special Operations Command. After completing his military service, he completed his Sports Medicine fellowship at the NYU-Langone Hospital for Joint Diseases before entering civilian practice.
