With our step-by-step technique it is possible to adapt to the patient's individual anatomy and demands intraoperatively by allowing as much surgical freedom as possible. Depending on height, weight, sex, race, or individual anatomy, the graft can be intraoperatively "designed" following these easy steps. The presented three- or five-stranded graft can be used for anterior cruciate ligament (ACL) as well as posterior cruciate ligament (PCL) reconstructions in adults and even children. This highly variable algorithm enables surgeons to intraoperatively create ACL or even PCL grafts adapted to the patient's individual needs.
