Why did you join AAOS?
I joined AAOS to help keep current with literature and news within our field of orthopaedic surgery.
How do you define success?
Success is the end result of hard work, dedication, and practice to a particular endeavor.
Who is your biggest inspiration and why?
My parents. I am a first generation Croatian-American, and I owe my parents much gratitude for the sacrifices they made when moving to the United States.
How has the AAOS helped you throughout your career?
The AAOS has helped through the access to research and literature/teaching videos which are fantastic and incredibly useful for Residents, Fellows, and attendings.
What advice would you give to new members of AAOS?
Take advantage of the resources and incredible network available to you through the AAOS.
Tell us a fun fact about yourself that not many people know?
My favorite movie is True Lies. It has comedy, action, romance all packed into the best spy movie of the early 90s.
