The Academy is committed to bringing world-class education to the orthopaedic community and will be offering this course as a virtual, long-distance learning experience. Accessibility and logistics details are in development and will be shared as soon as possible.

Focus your preparation and gain confidence for the 2020 oral examination

Spend a virtual day with Board Certified Academy Fellows to practice and build plans for your successful case presentation and defense. Understand Part II exam expectations through:

  • Video examples of case presentations
  • Discussion with questions and answers
  • Faculty instruction on case presentation
  • Tips on presenting complication cases

Then, YOU present! Using two of your own patient cases, gain first-hand presentation experience in individual simulated oral examination sessions with fellowship-trained faculty selected across the specialties. Mock interviews will take place via video conferencing, with logistics details coming soon.

Experience different questioning styles, get unfiltered feedback and advice, uncover common mistakes, and formulate ways to bridge gaps in your defense.

Not ready to present your cases? Not taking Part II in 2020? Be an Observer!

At a reduced rate, observing is a great opportunity to watch your peers, listen to feedback and faculty critique, and participate in the overview lectures.

For those taking the exam in the future, guide your collection and preparation year and avoid mistakes early on.
