AJRR Informational Session

Moderated by David G. Lewallen, MD, and William J. Maloney, MD, the American Joint Replacement Registry (AJRR) Informational Session will be held tomorrow in Moscone Convention Center South, Room 270, beginning at 9 a.m.

Intended for orthopaedic surgeons specializing in joint replacement, hospital executives, and nursing/operating room staff, the free informational session is an opportunity to learn from and interact with leaders of the AJRR. The AJRR was founded in 2009 and is a national, independent, not-for-profit organization with the goal of optimizing patient outcomes through the collection of Level One data on all primary and revision total joint (hip and knee) replacement procedures.

The AJRR has completed the initial registry pilot program, “lessons learned,” and is now actively involved in production registry expansion. Participants will learn how the AJRR has developed and operates to provide benefits to orthopaedic surgeons and hospitals.
