Scientific exhibits sought
The Exhibit Committee for the 2009 AAOS Annual Meeting is now accepting applications for scientific exhibits. Scientific exhibits graphically illustrate an extended study or a complex procedure with a minimum 2-year follow-up per patient for clinical studies. They are differentiated from poster presentations by the amount of material presented and may be of a laboratory or clinical nature.

Scientific exhibits must include some type of visual enhancement, such as an X-Ray box, VCR and monitor, slides, or 3-D model. The AAOS provides a complimentary audio-visual package consisting of standard monitor, computer, and DVD player if ordered in advance. Demonstrations and comprehensive handout materials are encouraged and should reflect the exhibit content and assist in understanding.

The deadline for scientific exhibit applications is June 2, 2008. Submit your application online at
