Orthopaedic Video Theater Debuts 118 New Videos at Annual Meeting

The AAOS Orthopaedic Video Theater (OVT) is a valuable resource for orthopaedic surgeons around the globe and at all career levels—from residency through retirement. With a vast library of nearly 600 videos, the OVT includes topics pertaining to your area of expertise, as well as hundreds outside your specialty area. Plus, OVT offers the same quality and reliability that you find in other AAOS educational resources.

All OVT videos are reviewed by topic experts, many of whom are pioneers in the field. This peer-review process helps ensure the demonstrations are safe and effective. This week, you can view 118 of the newest additions to the OVT—including 11 award-winning videos and six honorable mention videos—in Academy Hall, Sails Pavilion. Hours are 7:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. Wednesday–Friday, and 7:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. on Saturday.

OVT’s peer-reviewed videos, available for viewing in Academy Hall, cover all specialty areas of orthopaedics.

Beyond the meeting, all OVT videos can be accessed through the AAOS Access video viewing app, which is now available for both iOS and Android mobile devices. With the app, you have more flexibility and better access to the full OVT collection, with quick searches and easy navigation by topic. The iOS app for iPhone and iPad also allows you to download videos directly to your mobile device to watch at your convenience, without having to rely on Internet access.

The OVT’s peer-reviewed, balanced, high-quality video presentations cover all specialty areas of orthopaedics—demonstrating cutting-edge techniques and exploring key issues from anatomy to arthroscopy, instrumentation to arthroplasty. Videos can be used to learn new techniques or to keep up with trends and advances in care.

Visit the App Store or Google Play to download the AAOS Access App, and begin viewing videos today.
