Join the Conversation and Share Your #AAOS2016 Experience

By: Megan Lusk

Nearly 30,000 orthopaedic professionals have taken time away from their practices and personal lives to attend the AAOS 2016 Annual Meeting. Because everyone’s expectations for the Annual Meeting are unique, two AAOS teams will be roaming the Orange County Convention Center throughout the week to speak with attendees about their individual experiences.

On Tuesday, March 1, and Wednesday, March 2, a small camera crew will be traveling the convention center to interview attendees about what they are focusing on at the meeting, which Annual Meeting learning formats they prefer, and the on-site opportunities about which they are most excited. In addition, a social media team will be on hand throughout the week at various educational sessions, special events, self-directed learning in Academy Hall, Technical Exhibits, and the Resource Center to engage with attendees and share experiences from the meeting on the Annual Meeting Twitter and Facebook.

Join the Annual Meeting conversation in person and on social media during these activities, and be sure to use #AAOS2016, the official hashtag of the Annual Meeting in your messages. The Annual Meeting offers a unique experience in which the most important minds in orthopaedics gather for one week to exchange knowledge in orthopaedic education, research, and technology. Share your unique personal experience, why you attend the AAOS Annual Meeting, and the takeaways you’ll be bringing back to your practice and personal life.
