  • Overview of Topics: The EWI XI symposium is divided into three general sessions: Research: What Have we Funded and what are the Outcomes?; Combat Casualty Care: Where we've Been, Where we're Going; and Readiness of the Fighting Force. Each session has didactic presentations, followed by questions and answers. Small group breakout discussions following each general session, which will focus on Combat Casualty Research; Streamlining Combat Casualty Care; and Obstacles to Return to Function, respectively. New research will be featured throughout the agenda; podium presentations will be selected from the poster abstracts.
